Pilates Teacher - Natasha Vieira

Natasha is passionate about using the tradition of Pilates to create positive change in people’s lives.

Her approach will allow you to build deep strength and awareness, resulting in increased mobility and body control. You can expect traditional Pilates exercises as well as a creative and varied route into this vast system of movement.

Natasha believes there is something for everyone in learning Pilates, no matter what your current physical condition may be. Whether you are working with an injury or chronic pain, or you simply want to move and feel better, classes are carefully crafted to the individual.

She continues to be inspired by, and study with, some of the best Master Pilates and Movement teachers in the world.

“I have been practising Pilates for over 20 years (originally to complement my professional dance training), and teaching Pilates for over 10 years. Performing Pilates exercises came easily to me, and I could make Pilates “look good”. But it wasn’t until I embarked on my teacher training journey and started taking regular 1:1 classes that I realised I’d been training quite superficially. The depth of this work has less to do with how it looks and more to do with how it feels. Understanding this was transformative for me.

Pilates helps me in so many ways and I’m passionate about passing these benefits on to others. It allows me to progress in other areas of movement and exercise, to keep up with my toddler, and remain connected to my body and conscious of my state of mind. I personally find it to be the ultimate antidote to the chaos of our modern world… and I think there’s nothing quite like it.

I love working with all types of people and bodies; and since having a baby I especially enjoy working with people who are recovering from childbirth.”

"I’ve worked with Natasha for several years on a regular basis and find her to be skillful at assessing my needs. She has been tactful, patient, gentle but forceful in helping me to compensate for sedentary habits and to combat the infirmities of age."
